For resort guests the following activities are included in your resort fee:
Snorkelling
There is an abundance of places where you can snorkel on Scrub Island, either off of Turtle beach, North Beach or The Cove. Should you not have your snorkel equipment, this can be picked up from the Beach Club on North Beach.
Sea Kayak
With single or double kayaks available for your use, we recomment you go out in the bay for a paddle. The clear bottom will allow you to see the great marine life below you.
24hr Fitness Center
Located next to Ixora, our 24hr fitness facility offers the newest sporting equipment with Cliffside views, as well as a pool to cool off to after a great workout
Columbus Courts
In the cove where little Scrub meets big Scrub, are our two tennis courts with duraturf finishing. Please schedule times with your host to ensure the courts arent booked. Basic rackets are available for play or for a fee we will provide you with quality tennis rackets and balls.
Swimming pools (Pavilion / North Beach )
Should you want a more active pool, with views of the marina and next to Aliseo, the Pavilion pool with its swim up bar and multiple levels is the one for you. Should you instead want a relaxing soak in fresh water then the pool on North Beach for registered guests only will be your spot. As an Ixora guest, you will have full use of the facilities including the pool, where you can soak and relax in between treatments.
Interactive Cooking Classes
In the comfort of your own unit, you will be able to meet our culinary team and see how they prepare their signature dishes that you just savored in one of our dining outlets. Be it either relaxing in your bed, or soaking in your bathtub, our Media hubs will allow you to experience these to the fullest. Should you feel brave after the lesson please call down to the provision store and ask for the ingredient package for the cooking class you just watched, and we will deliver it right to you. Make sure you dont forget to order the wine to go with your dinner.
Honeymoon hideouts
Located discreetly on the waterside, these are the ultimate escape. If privacy is what you are looking for remember to place your towel on the second post, so that we wont disturb you. Remember to bring your Island phone, that way should you want a snack we can deliver it right to you (Only after the towel is removed)
Observatory
Unlike the big metropolitan cities, here on Scrub Island, when you look up to the sky all you see are millions of stars, planets and a good share of shooting stars so be ready to make plenty wishes. The Observatory on the mountaintop will be available for you to look at these in more detail and for our special wedding couples on Island you will be able to name your own star.
Bird Nest watching
Not on a tall ladder, rather in the comfort of your own room, you will able to peak into our local birds of prey nests, seeing the eggs hatching or hopefully be there to experience feeding time. With the use of the latest technology we will be able to stream the video directly to your bedroom or Villas TVs, without intruding and ruining the natural habitat of these birds of prey

Turtle Club
Scrub Island is a wonderful base for your family, no matter what the age. There are a variety of supervised physical and creative things to do on Scrub Island designed especially for children aged 5-12. Offering full or half-day options, seven days a week, the Turtle Club has something for every child.
For the older children who are looking for a fun place to hang out and socialize amongst themselves we have a state of the art multimedia room, that Christopher Columbus himself would have been proud of!
Scuba Diving
Scrub Island, in partnership with Dive BVI, offers guests a variety of services to meet all of their exploring needs. Services provided include daily snorkel tours, Anegada snorkel trips, daily two-tank and one-tank dive trips, equipment rental and eco-explorer tours, as well as private dive, snorkel and sightseeing charters.
An assortment of supervised instructional courses are also available for eager-to-learn aquaadventurers ranging from the Discover Scuba Diving course, allowing first timers to test the waters with basic scuba diving techniques, to the Advanced Diver program, designed to expand the divers knowledge and experience with new dive situations.
Fishing
Half day and full day fishing packages are available and whether you are interested in fly-fishing, inshore fishing or even deep sea fishing at the North Drop (only 30 minutes away!), we provide you with experienced guides and equipment to fish to your hearts content. Should you have gotten a great catch, and once passed our health and safety procedures our chefs would be more than happy to prepare your catch for you however you please.
Yacht Charters
Should you have a desire to sail or motor through these beautiful Islands, please do not hesitate to contact your host, who will arrange it all for you. Should you be proficient on boats already, we are also able to rent bare boats for you, and fulfill your life long dream of anchoring off one of the many great-uninhabited white sandy islands.
Cooking Classes
Your stay with us on Scrub Island, will not only ensure a great culinary experience, but will also have the opportunity to learn the local secrets in preparing and mastering the local ingredients to create those exact same dishes that you have tried in Caravela, Aliseo,One Shoe or Antilia.
Kayak Eco Tours
Join our resort biologist for our kayak eco tour, around Scrub Island and Camanoe. Learn about all the different species in these crystal blue waters, and learn what we are doing to ensure that underwater marine life thrives in these waters.
Historical Tour of Tortola
The British Virgin Islands are a great country, and we are very proud of being part of them. Should you want to learn more of the history of the Island, and see some of the amazing views for the top of the mountain overlooking Cane Garden Bay, visit the first sights of Dutch settlements, or even walk through the famous Bomba Shack.
The Melting Pot
This activity will not only show you the roots of the British Virgin Islands, and its great heritage, but it will also give you an opportunity to experience it in real life talking to the local people and even having a traditional meal in their own home.
Sunset Cruise
There is nothing more romantic than a sunset cruise on a beautiful catamran around Scrub island. You will be able to see the amazing neighboring islands while enjoying a fine glass of champagne, and maybe even some turtles popping their head out of water to check up on you.
